With its 6.5-inch screen, the Control Display is located in the central section of the upper dashboard of the BMW 7 Series. It displays all the functions which can be activated using the Controller, as well as a host of other data: information from the on-board computer, the settings of the hi-fi system and radio stations, route plans from the navigation system, the current traffic situation from BMW Assist and information about the automobile's servicing status.
The transreflexive LCD technology illuminates the screen from behind and maintains the optimum contrast, ensuring that information is always easy to read regardless of how dark or light it is outside. Laid out clearly in four sections, the Control Display works with the Controller to provide motorists with fast, intuitive and easy regulation of the cabin comfort functions.
