A Shelby Supercars anunciou o Tuatara, nome de um lagarto nativo da Nova Zel�ndia, que tem como objetivo superar o Bugatti Veyron Super Sport passando a ser o carro de mais r�pido do Mundo.

Para superar o Veyron, atual recordista de carro de produ��o mais r�pido do mundo com 434,211 km/h , o Tuatara tem o motor V8 Biturbo de 7 litros, com 1350 cavalos de pot�ncia. Com transmiss�o manual de sete velocidades, ele promete uma acelera��o dos 0 aos 100 km/h em apenas 2,8 segundos e uma velocidade m�xima de 443 km/h.
