In contrast to traditional headlights, BMW's "intelligent light" solution features headlights which can swivel from side to side.
These movable headlights are the ideal source of light when taking a bend. Sensors measure the angle of the car's curve, the rotation speed around the vertical axle (yaw) and car's velocity.
The information derived from these sources is used to gauge the ideal angle of the headlights for the best illumination of the bend ahead.
